This course enables its participants to understand the economic organisation & architecture of financial systems – comprising of financial intermediaries, markets and market infrastructures; besides its dynamics in this ever changing innovation-driven era of globalization. Therefore main focus will remain on the following areas;
•    Understanding the design of national & global financial system and their interface.
•    Scrutinizing the drivers affecting the organisation & design of financial systems.
•    Elucidating the role of the different actors of the financial system and their interaction.
•    Illuminating; how technology and innovations are reshaping the global financial system.
•    Analysing the impact of financial liberalization & globalization of capital flows on the design of financial systems?
•    Anticipating the impact of international financial crisis on world economy.
