Faculty contributors


The center comprises full and part-time faculty members of CERAM as well as associate members from other national and international academic circles. The coordinators of the center include international finance experts with professional background in the World Bank, leading international banks and investment funds. In addition, the center constitutes an advisory committee, including professionals from the international finance arena and from the European and North American academic community.

 

# Henri Aleman # Mail # Resume

After a successful career at Crédit Lyonnais, especially as head of pension management, Henri Aleman is currently finance professor at CERAM, in charge of the master in "Ingénierie et Gestion Internationale de Patrimoine".

# Tarek Amyuni # Mail # Resume

Mr. Amyuni joined the CERAM faculty in late 1999 after career in international finance with NY-based Merril Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith where he managed fixed income and equity portfolios. He received a MA in International Finance from Thunderbird in Glendale, Arizona Univ. Mr. Amyuni is in charge of the Master in "Finance de Marches et Innovations Technologiques" at CERAM and teaches International Risk Management as well as Fixed Income Management.




# Michel-Henry Bouchet  # Mail # Resume

After an international banking career at BNP, the World Bank and the Institute of International Finance, Bouchet was CEO of Owen Stanley Financial, a specialized advisory firm dealing with debt restructuring strategy for country governments that became a subsidiary of ING Barings. He is Scientific Director of the MScIF programme at CERAM where he teaches International finance and Country risk management. Graduated from the University of Paris in Economics and from IEP-Paris. Holds MA & PhD degrees in International Relations from USC, and HDR (Paris-Dauphine).

# Franck Ciosi # Mail # Resume

Franck Ciosi worked for almost thirty years in Dealing Rooms, and taught for 15 years in several Universities in Market Finance. He spend 15 years in Monaco to build up a Professional Association (ACI Monaco The Financial Markets Association) in Education and Professionalism at first, then as President since 2002.


#  Ludovic Dibiaggio # Mail # Resume

Ludovic Dibiaggio is professor of economics at CERAM Sophia Antipolis, and associate researcher at the Freeman Centre in Brighton (UK). He is also the academic director of the Mastère in Strategic Management for Sustainable Development. He gives some lectures in microeconomics, in industrial organization, in technology management and in knowledge economics. His research is dedicated to industry dynamics and to the impact of knowledge creation and diffusion on industrial organisation. He has an international expertise in the semiconductor and in the telecom industries. He has also made consultancy and economic studies for local institutions and for multinational companies and has been involved in European research projects.

# Bertrand Groslambert # Mail # Resume

After working with Total-Senegal, Dr. Groslambert joined Paris-based FP Consult, an emerging market investment management company with a US$250 million portfolio. He was equity fund manager specializing in Latin America stock markets. Dr Groslambert teaches International Finance Strategy and International Risk Management at CERAM. Graduated from CERAM, he holds a Doctorate in Economics from Aix-Marseille University. His areas of expertise include emerging markets and international economics.




# David Hampton  # Mail # Resume

David Hampton currently lectures "Quantitative Methods in Finance" and "Risk II" courses for the MSc IF programme as well as "Quantitative Management" at undergraduate level. Dr. Hampton holds a PhD in Electical Engineering from the Queen's University of Belfast and an international MBA from l'Institut Superieur de Gestion in Paris, New York and Tokyo. He was previously employed as a Quantitative Analyst at Bank of America Capital Markets in London before founding his own managed futures hedge fund. He has recently worked as a consultant for various hedge funds in new product research and development.

# Harvesh Seegolam  # Mail # Resume

Harvesh Seegolam graduated with a BSc (Hon) in Economics from the University College London and London School of Economics in 2004. He received his MSc in International Finance from CERAM Business School in 2006. Harvesh currently works for Air Mauritius and also heads the ViSheel Group which has activities in Business Process Outsourcing, Imports/Exports and Distributions, Financial Management, Advisory and Consultancy in Mauritius.




# Robert Isaak # Mail

Teaching "Globalization and the Changing World Economy" at CERAM, Robert Isaak is the author or coauthor of ten books including The Globalization Gap, Managing World Economic Change, Green Logic: Ecopreneurship, Theory and Ethics, and Modern Inflation (with German economist Wilhelm Hankel). He is the Henry George Professor of International Management at Pace University in New York, where he teaches international management, comparative management, and creativity and entrepreneurship across cultures. He holds a B.A. from Stanford University and a Ph.D. from New York University.
Alain Habib

After practicing for many years in Paris as a certified accountant, I have recently turned towards teaching and instructing, encouraging students towards a degree in chartered accounting.
During the last 10 years, I have been living in the South of France where I work as a consultant, specialized in Property and Inheritance Management. I am a registered chartered accountant by the AMF, and I have always enjoyed teaching. When I am in Paris I continue  lecturing on certified accounting and since September 2007 I am in charge of the MAJEUR FINANCE d'ENTREPRISE at the CERAM BUSINESS SCHOOL.


# Michael Payte # Mail # Resume

Michael Payte, former international banker with Citibank, is currently Europe centerman of New York-based IAFE, the International Association of Financial Engineers. Mr. Payte is widely acknowledged as an expert in the International Capital and Derivatives Markets as well as European and International Finance. During the 1980's and 1990's Mr. Payte was a Senior Managing Director and Senior Product Head for International Capital Markets and Derivatives at Bear Stearns and Citibank in both New York and London.

# Gabriele Suder # Mail # Resume

Gabriele G. S. Suder, Professor of International Business at CERAM, teaches in the MScIB program. Professor Suder hold a doctorate (PhD) in Management from the University of Bath School of Management, Centre of European Industrial Studies (CEIS), UK, 1994. Professor Suder is an expert in the field of risk assessment and management, in particular terrorism and geo-political risk. She is author/editor of two books in this field, and editorial board member of IJRAM  (www.inderscience.com).

G. VALIN has implemented and developed the "employee benefits" service line of Deloitte and Touche during the last 3 years (2001-2003). He was previously Dean of the ESSEC Business School (1998-2000). His main ability regards management of insurance companies. He has been CFO, Member of the Board and CEO of insurance companies in Europe within the AXA and LAZARD groups (1974-1997). He hold the following degrees: HEC, CPA, Doctorate in Finance (Paris Dauphine). He has written 2 books on insurance and audit and many articles on corporate finance and human capital.
 

# Rim Zaabar   # Mail # Resume

Dr. Rim Zaabar, Professor of Finance at CERAM, teaches in the Master of Management program. More precisely, she gives a course in Mergers and Acquisitions and a course in Financial Modelling. Dr. Rim Zaabar holds a doctorate (PhD) in Finance from the University of Toulouse, Centre de Recherche en Economie Mathématique et Quantitative (GREMAQ). Furthermore, Dr. Rim Zaabar is the coordinate of the Major Corporate Finance in the Master of Management program. Her research areas include corporate finance, empirical finance and applied econometrics.




Arnaud Leconte

Arnaud Leconte, specialist in financial and technological innovation for the financial industry, is working with financial institutions on the conception and implementation of innovative solutions to improve their asset and liability management, and their global risk management. His latest research interest lays in the use of finance to deal with new   environmental risks such as climate change.
Arnaud Leconte is senior consultant at Wall Street Systems, and a research fellow at the Center of Macroeconomics and Financial Studies (CEMAFI) of the University of Nice- Sophia Antipolis.

Luc Pavot

Luc Pavot is the  webmaster of the Global Finance Center website. He is currently in first year of CERAM Business School. His contribution for the Global Finance website includes a new design and architecture, and on-going management.
 



# Thierry Haven   # Mail # Resume

Thierry Haven was the webmaster of the Global Finance Center website (2006 - 2007). He holds an International Technological Study University Diploma in computer sciences and a MIM of CERAM. He currently works with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Luxembourg.
